I too am involved in picking on a personality (Bush), but that is because of the sheer power Bush holds. I didn't know that sexual harassment was ever a hot issue for Bush supporters, except when it could discredit a Democrat. Most cases date back to laws related to the 1964 Civil Rights Act. Was that now a Republican agenda item? But back to the article, not surprisingly, I disagree with Hyannisport being equated with Yosemite. One puts wind power where it does the most good - where there is the highest wind. This should be looked at with a greater good mindset. And I do have it in my backyard (so I'm not a NIMBY) and am proud of them - though they went bankrupt once due to a lack of governmental sponsorship and are now run under the bankruptcy courts. But with oil prices what they are, I'm sure they are profitable. Enron was very helpful in deploying them - oh, wait, that's right they were selling power to the grid at 10x the cost and laughing about it. What's good for Texas and all... I like the windmills and have even have been tempted to sneak a hike up to them ... would that be chargeable under the Patriot Act? Probably. Windmills can be made to be eagle friendly and now that we know which way the blades should face (and have put perches on the down-wind side, away from the blades), the eagle deaths have been much reduced. Are windmills even supported by the current administration. If so, it would be news to me. They seem to only want to open California up to more forestry and take away the EIR requirements.
