aj, even if we go a little higher and then fall to SPX 1166 as you implied earlier, then maybe that would be the end of the 4, completing a nice ABC off the top.

But about your comment about the 2 lasting several weeks and therefore the 4 shouldn't be so short, the point drop in the fall was 34 and so far on this move its 28, and apparently that's what we should be watching rather than lengths of time. I always used to think that time was important in calculating waves, as I had a discussion in October with ski on a "wave 3 can never be the shortest" remark, and ski pointed out to me that E-wave theory refers more to the length of the movement in points rather than the length of the movement in time.
