A big problem is that Islam is a primitive religion that teaches theocracy. Beyond that there are fundamental problems with industry. Usury is largely rejected and how can a devout Muslim do scheduled prayers and work a 3rd shift. Many industries demand 24 hour operation. Bluntly put, their society is inferior.
