Ya, I got that "But you don't have any kids" BS every time I was being told to bend over & spread wide. I'd get sent on jobs that required extensive travel, long hours, loss of holidays, vacations canceled, etc. The mommies & even some daddies would get 'make work' assignments that allowed them to have a very flexible (non) work schedule. It got to the point where I started asking my supervisor where it stated in the job description that employees without children were allowed to be openly discriminated against or that those with children were to receive special treatment. And don't get me started on how they handled Affirmative Action.
