If I recall correctly, child abuse was never proven against him. Wouldn't doubt it, though.

The Feds handled Waco poorly. OTOH, so did the Davidians. Koresh knew the Feds had legal warrants and the law required him to let them execute them.

And there were a lot of people in that compound caught between an unstoppable force and an immoveable rock.
