What the UN had was unfinished accounting issues that could have given the UN an actionable cause -- but as for us, we had absolutely nothing on Iraq -- nothing -- nada -- not one thing.

Just like in stock picking, being correct is what counts. Unfortunately, this admin does not hold itself responsible for being incorrect. It just makes excuses such as "everyone else thought so too!"

At the rate we are going, there will be 1400 US dead by the election. I pray that the elected Iraqi government DEMANDS that the US leave, and that Bush is smart enough to don the figleaf thus handed to him. I don't expect either however.
