I have been racking my brains trying to remember the source of "Miss Beazley." Finally it came to me, Buffy's Mrs. Beasley doll on "Family Affair." A lot of people call them "Miss Beasley" dolls. They were very popular in the 60's.

But the official explanation is that she is named after Uncle Beazley the triceratops in Oliver Butterworth's "The Enormous Egg."
