In the old days AA used to bash in heads for TA'ing implied volatility (g), but VXN looks like a neat impulsive move up since the low on 12/22, followed by a "correction" over the past few days (when else is time for volatility to rest if not during a market decline? -g). Less then half a point up from the current level VXN will overlap with the prior minor low. Might be a sell signal, really.
