and liberals are the ones who own the suvs, whine every time there is a casualty in war, and put some obscure insect ahead of fellow human beings.
"I have long considered the WOT to be much ado about little compared to some of the other issues facing the planet."

You are not a neolib at all. I resent the above statement. Quite a big difference between errant policies and differing views on things and crashing plannes full of people into buildings full of people. Shame on you.

I overlooked scott ritter in my post to you. You are right. He did turn out to be right (seems so anyway-always the syria thing) and since he had the requisite skills, one wonders why others didnt see it that way as well.

<I agree that you, me, Maurice and GST are pretty much clueless! (vbg)>

Hey, speak for yourself. Interpretation from many sources of information doesn't = clueless. My conclusions were better than the WMD proponents.

They can call it luck. Same as investing, it might well be luck, but it's hard to tell. Those who get it right, usually think it was their brain-power. It doesn't really matter whether it's smart or luck. Being right is what matters. Being wrong leads to Globalstar-size losses and being right leads to QUALCOMM-size gains. In the war-zone, being right means less death and wrong means more.

PS: Edit... I see the analogy was already made: <//Everyone except Maurice and Scott Ritter believe saddam had wmds//

Just like in stock picking, being correct is what counts. Unfortunately, this admin does not hold itself responsible for being incorrect. It just makes excuses such as "everyone else thought so too!"
