Here's a fun one for you.... I have a friend here in town who has run a pedicab business for a about 3 years and is just now moving up the foodchain and has purchased a bio-diesel powered 12 passenger bus. A few days ago, John got an opportunity to be interviewed about the bus on our local cableco's morning show: bendcable.com He talked up ecology, conservation, energy self-sufficiency and such like. Midway during the interview, John crossed his legs and the sole of his shoe was directly in the camera's view. Lo and behold, he had a sticker attached to the bottom of his shoe: cafepress.com The interviewer never saw the sticker, the cameraman didn't mention it (they're always on our side) and the video went to air. The following day, a manager reviewed the tape and became totally irate. He yelled at the morning show staff that my friend was to be permanently banned from their TV station. Apparently neither tolerance, a sense of humor or decency are required attributes for managers at this facility. I'm shocked they haven't tried to censor "The Daily Show with John Stewart" off their programming....... Hope that narrow-minded manager isn't reading this! :) Cheerio!
