Thanks....here's some of what I found... "National Security Decision Directive 114" Interesting...Using the quote marks to search, I see that nearly all of the sites suggest a leftwing POV only. And nearly all of them say the same thing....(I went into google for 5 pages...there were more) Then releasing the quote marks, and just inserting the words above... I found many links, including some of the ones you posted, and that were as noted above, BUT other broad links, including: fas.org www2.gwu.edu library.okstate.edu usiraqprocon.org
