Here's the news I got:

Apple Computer: Expect further appreciation for the stock - First Albany (AAPL) 64.55 : First Albany raises their 1Q05 EPS est for AAPL to $0.50 from $0.47 (consensus $0.48) based on their raised iPod units est of 4.6 mln (vs 3.9 mln previously). More importantly, firm raises their FY05 EPS est to $1.68 from $1.57 (consensus $1.49), and believes that the MacWorld announcements will likely prove to be a positive catalyst. Among many speculated announcements, they view a flash-based iPod and a sub-$500 Mac as most likely. Despite lower price points (and potentially lower margins), each of these would provide incremental market opportunities by providing an Apple alternative at the low end. Firm expects FY05 consensus ests to take yet another step upward, which should enable further price appreciation for the stock.
