Added to prior post: Dr. J said EDGE would be adopted by the carrier like ATT in lieu of any CDMA as 3G. He was correct. ATT had it and is now out of business. If it is so good contrary to what Dr. has said about it, other carrier should go for it, Why not? Why bother with WCDMA ? It appears that any comment by the IJ regarding the supper 3G-4G plan led by VOD and NTT will be accepted in general as crucial information, but it ain't so according to Eric L. Bill
