A win is a win- but a 2% margin is a warning that support is weak- and will get weaker if the people are displeased. That is why I mention it. I have seen lots of news on the "mandate" Bush received, which seems to be leading to a bit of irrational exuberance wrt the amount of real political capital Bush has. That is why I mention it. I probably should just be quiet, and watch the right hoist iteself on its own petard.
