re: code execution from USB drive Really portable programs should be executed on any PC without leaving traces, that is no installation. I've been using for about 10 years an old version of MSworks (V2.0) that fits in a floppy, leaves some room for several spreadsheets, text documents and (small) databases and can run without leaving anything in the host PC. from the U3 FAQ: "These applications that are launched from the U3 device will work on any PC, wherever the user may be." Now, as soon as i can get my hands over the API specifications... B.
