Others have said much the same. Without the persecution or ghetto mentality, Judaism would decline even more so then it has already. It is for this reason that I say Judaism has devolved into a "persecution cult" and a shakedown organization (when it blindly supports and finances Isra'El). This must be the benefits of Christianity; they ask of you so little, with a loose code of observance, that it thrives....at least in terms of numbers. The new and more accurate use of the misnomer "anti-semite" is a person who Jews (almost exclusively Zionist types) want to guilt-trip and silence those for speaking political truths about Isra'El they do not want others to hear. In other words, they hate them and wish to censor them, brow-beat them, and give them a bad name. len
