? Who said anything about the insurgents winning? I think the Shiites win, and we get a theocracy, and perhaps a slaughter of Sunnis. I can't imagine how the insurgents win. If I take over your city, and remove the structures that kept crime under control, and you are killed because there is no longer the safety that you once enjoyed (even if the safety was the product of repression) I think I am responsible for your death. It seems to be I would be evading responsibility if I blamed your death on the criminals, who would not have had the opportunity to kill you BUT FOR my interference.
