In 1995 al-Qadi of Mercy-USA registered "Mercy for International Relief Agency". He described it as a "sister organization" of the al Qeada ops dba Mercy-USA. (Assumed Names: MERCY INTERNATIONAL 734583 4-22-1993 10-1-1998 12-31-2003).
There is a company founded by a guy named Soliman Biheiri, BMI. BMI is important because the feds have discovered it to be a front for Hamas and al Qaeda financiers. Biheiri's wife told the feds Biheiri was destroying documents from terrorist financiers post 9/11. This is important because the feds are also exploring the links between Biheiri, Khaled Elgindy's IIRO (the Saudi-sponsored International Islamic Relief Organization), and al-Qadi's Mercy International. You can see why Jeff and Truthseeker echo Tony's claim he didn't make a donation to Mercy. Sticky stuff.

Early testimony in the case shows that the FBI was investigating Elgindy's contribution to Mercy International. According to news reports, the now defunct Mercy International was used to funnel money to terror organization Al-Qaida in the past.
