So you admit that you don't want to become a true believer. If the proselytizers want to give away scarce jobs in their charity bureaucracies, they want you to become a true believer not just a simple convert. As a true believer you have to get your friends and families to join up for free. Think Amway.

Sorry. You have lot of competition. Kids in madrassas in Pakistan convert to radical islamism with just some food, shelter, and quran. It is not just Pepsi and Coke that like to get the kids early!

For the really rich converts, there is only the promise of access to the spiritual leadership.
