"I regret the wording of what I said about the hunters. In my passion for animals and their welfare I worded a statement in a way that made people feel I am not equally passionate about saving human life. I tried to correct that impression many times... I am glad you said that. I was not in on the 'hunter' episode but I have seen some of the comments on it. There seems to be some real hard feelings about it.

I always understood that you were just as strongly pro-human as pro-animal- I remember your discussions with E on abortion, for example. Although I think it would have been clear to anyone who extended to you the benefit of the doubt that you were not advocating the killing of humans just because you abhor the killing of animals, I think it was very generous of you to try to set the record straight yet again. Bravo
