<China Development Bank has a massive credit line open now for Huawei (near US$10bn), to support whatever it costs to get share in targeted global markets.>

Hmmm, I am starting to think that Hu Jintao has got some good ideas after all [or maybe just the China Development Bank]. Where do I apply? I shall need a LOT of 450MHz Huawei CDMA2000 1xEV-DO equipment. I am always happy to help people doing good things.

""""This is all a part of "China Inside Out" and "no big deal", is not inexpensive, but then it just is and in any case only printed and soon to be worthless paper.""""

That is not what I see as a changing sign of Barbarian CCP though I perfectly understand their motives.

Well. The more aggressive they are, the sooner the unexpected revolution will come including attacking Taiwan when things looked bad in China, among other things. may be attacking Taiwan is just a fuse for its own collapse. We shall see.

<losing money is no big deal, as long as wealth results at some point (another version of scrambled eggs).>>

Brazil did the same to kick start the Proalcool program back in the mid-70s. Subsidizing distilleries, giving incentives to auto-makers, charging more for gasoline users to subsidize the ethanol user... Saved hard currency: It was local currency ciculating within the country rather than send USD to OPEC.

Wealth results are coming now and will come much more in the future.
