The baby boom is a relatively short term phenomina.
After a few years, about 10, the inflows will again exceed outflows.
Don't break what ain't broken.

There is no question that Bush admin uses scare tactics to get proposals through. However, comparing one problem to another doesn't lessen the fact that the SS trust fund will go bankrupt in 40 years time.
