And Maya is a b**h! Big snook down there, had a treble hook totally straightened out.* Is there an English translation of that? :-) Supposedly a paved road goes all the way from highway 186 across the bottom of the Yucatan peninsula to Calakmul, which is supposed to be quite a site itself. And the road supposedly continues unpaved to the Usamacinta. We were going to try to make Calakmul this last trip, but I developed some medical problems and that isn't a part of the world to have medical problems in.
