Come on. Christians have their mass too. And people like to be traditional and solemn and organized at the mass. By that criteria, India is the full of independent eccentrics. Indian weddings and religious functions seem anarchic!

Muslims did very well in Science for a long time. Remember Al-Gebra, Al-Chemy!
