It isn't speed, it's corruption. Drugs need to be both efficacious and safe. The FDA was approving drugs that were not even efficacious. It's baloney and the FDA knows it which is why they punished their employees who spoke out. pbs.org I'm not going to defend Clinton. As I said, he did many stupid things and blew up his own political capital. I don't want Hillary running for President either. After her flirtation with secret meetings on healthcare, I don't trust her either. However, the difference between the Reps and the Dems is that the Reps are so far off the deep end in their love of fascism. that it makes the Dems look like saints. Tauzin, after pushing through Medicare 'reform' is now a $2m/year lobbyist with Phrma. Whazza? Medicare 'reform' is simply designed to bankrupt Medicare while providing a guaranteed profit increase to....Big Phrma. Republicans are corrupt. Dems are corrupt also but nowhere near as much. Oh yeah, it's high time to stop blaming Clinton for everything that Bush does or doesn't do that has a bad outcome. Whatever happened to responsibility? He's been there for 4 years, he has a majority in Congress and the leftover (now gone) capital from 911. What has BUSH DONE?
