Are the Palestinians simply convenient distractions from the failures of those gov'ts? Where is THEIR debt? Where is THEIR human kindness? America is about the only country I can think of that is pro-Zionist, in fact. Study a bit of history. What country was the first pro-Zionist? The USSR. The US was anti-Zionist then. I cannot in good conscience have thread rules that ban people just on my whim, although I know some other thread heads do that. ALL do. Some just admit it. If I banned everyone I didn't like for one reason or another, this would be an arbitrary and closed kind of place (with far fewer participants). Now that you mention it, that is precisely what you were doing a while back and you found that was the consequence. I wonder if you realize how offensive it is for you to imply that I in some way sanction his views. When you ban Jewel for no apparent reason and nothing happens to him? Maybe I reason for such an impression.

"all of the bannees have been invited back if they want to come. There are at least five (all conservatives) who did not find the requirements to make a special request to be removed from the bannie list ... 'inviting'... tra la las not withstanding.

The land "they" call Israel was created by UN Resolution 181 (Partition Plan), November 29, 1947, whereby the United Nations General Assembly Resolution 181 called for the partition of the British-ruled Palestine Mandate into a Jewish state and an Arab state. It was approved on November 29, 1947 with 33 votes in favor, 13 against, 10 abstentions and one absent.
