Like others, I too was innoculated for smallpox when I was a kid in India. got the scar marks. I personally dont believe I am immune to it. Heck I get stomach disorders these days, from stuff I could have easily handled back in the old days!

As an aside, according to authorities in the US, from when I lived there, I would be wise not to donate blood anymore. reason : I lived in England for 6 months during the mad cow episode there. I used to do my bit every 3-4 months, but now I prefer not to, rather than contaminate someone in need.
