The team is worse and won't be fixed in the next several years which is why I keep maintaining he will retire. He isn't dumb and he knows football far better then I. We aren't going to be winning any SB's during his football lifetime and that is the only reason he is playing. With all of the stuff going on with his wife, etc and the fact that he has hinted for the last 2 years that he may be ready to retire leads me to believe he is done.

Sharper is on the downhill of an average career. I'm not sure anybody else in our secondary would start for anyone else. No pass rush, ineffective linebackers who can't cover and a secondary that isn't even adequate. You don't fix that in one or two years. Worse Sherman has proven to me that he can not fix it.

Moss is cocking off in the St Paul paper this morning about how everyone wanted to make this about Moss because he walked off the field so he made it about Moss, and Moss won. I shit you not. MN didn't win, Moss won. What a dick. He is a poison but McCombs hugging him after the game tells me that dickhead will be around for years to come. On the bright side he will insure that I don't have to listen to my brother yack at me about any SB wins. Moss ain't winning no SuperBowls on his own that is for damn sure. And the stuff I heard this week from the center, etc tells me there is some serious internal conflict up there in regards to the poison boy.

It's sad but I think Favre will end his career with one of his worse games. 2 of the 4 were receiver's fault but that doesn't matter. I called that game to a T. We fell behind early, totally forgot the run and prayed that Favre could carry us to the promised land. It's too much to ask. By the end of the interview yesterday you could see him start to relax and I think realize that he doesn't need to carry anyone for the next several months. I could see he was liking the idea.

Personally I don't want to see him retire after throwing 4 but I do like the idea of him retiring with an unbroken string of starts and still be healthy. We aren't going anywhere with or without him so I kind of wish he would hang em up. It's been great but it's over.
