And even then the justice department had to threaten to sue the state to get the ballots mailed. jdn

For some reason, that evidently has something to do with when the primary is held....(who makes these rules?) Carlson said tonight that they don't print the ballots until after the primary....I think the Republicans want the primary to be held in June....not September....

One would think that after the 2000 election Nationally, that we would have fixed these problems. Part of the situation that happened in 2000 was that the Military didn't get their ballots on time either, so they couldn't get them back in time....

It would be interesting to know exactly which Counties in the entire US mailed the ballots in time for the Military to receive them, and have enough time to return them so they would be counted. Which political party controlled the Counties where this was done on time?
