So what, don't think it's relevant? I thought we were talking about the US bond market? What does currency intervention have to do with their bond rigging operations? Currency intervention, and buying over a third of all treasuries issued are completely separate topics. The point I've been making is that the foreign CBs (and the Fed) ARE the US bond market, they own it, and it's a Soviet Union command and control system that will meet the same fate.

Why not, would sure beat buying Old Maid cards. If this were a true market, Japanese institutions wouldn't be running to the BOJ to get rid of USD, they would keep some measure of it. You have to ask why it's necessary for the BOJ to be the buyer on this scale? The answer is they are subsidizing cronies, and in effect stealing from their people to benefit a plutocracy (including the American Bully branch), in a very corrupt system. It's not even remotely the "market" you seem to envision.
