Insomnia survey presentation..

JP Morgan's Corey Davis contracted MedPal(same company they used to price/get a feel for Tysabri) to do a survey of physicians concerning their perception of the percentage of their patients suffering insomnia, and their willingness to prescribe meds and what they prescribe(from the benzo's to low dose tricyclics, trazadone, and non-benzo's like Sonata/Ambien)...25 Primary care doc's who'd taken care of at least 50 insomnia patients, and 25 sleep specialists..

Without getting too bogged down with the #'s..he will email me the completed survey(which he just received this w/e and today increased the target to $70/share for Sepracor!) it was basically a Lunesta infomercial<g>..charts of how they predict it will supplant Ambien use..interestingly, NBIX's Indiplon was also calculated and a chart prepared re: Lunesta, Indiplon, Ambien usage..in that order..

Essentially survey found, physicians are very comfortable prescribing Lunesta for chronic use based on the studies and data so far..and awaiting results of the Lunesta/Prozac trial for depression..

So, Peter..I didn't have to guide him toward Lunesta<g>
