Bush, in the red recesses of his radically regressive mind, wants to privatize the military along with Social Security. In this war, private contractors are right there alongside US troops but at 10 times the pay, with much better equipment and the ability to go home. Heck, in the future, if we can afford it we'll just hire third world mercenaries to go fight our wars. If we can outsource R&D in high tech and the work of CFOs and Radiologists, we can certainly outsource our future conflicts.
