DD .. We all have the energy cost to deal with. It just passes thru the pipe to the consumer eventually. But the Spikes in energy and raw materials have not been passed on that much. They have been absorbed.

When you get mad enuff because it's hurting your bottom line you'll pass them on too ... then we'll have inflation.

It's just not showing up in the reports yet. But you can bet it will.

Keep your eye on the 30 year Bond.

"the Dept of Homeland Security would take away Alan's Briefcase" <that would be about the only thing they have done so far since the dept. was created.>
Guess I spoke to soon, looks like some homeland security funds will be used for Bush's coronation, oops, I mean inauguration...

"The second-term inauguration of President George W. Bush on January 20, 2005 has been designated as a National Special Security Event (NSSE) by the Department of Homeland Security. The NSSE designation will also be extended to the swearing-in ceremony at the U.S. Capitol, the inaugural parade, the official reviewing stand on Pennsylvania Avenue, and the inaugural balls"
"When an event is designated a National Special Security Event, the U.S. Secret Service assumes its role as the lead federal agency for the design and implementation of the operational security plan. Federal resources will be deployed to maintain the level of security needed for the designated events."
