Agree that the attachment to the property, makes the owner invest more in its development. Similarly, attachment to the glory of the ancestors may make the descendents set higher goals. Good for the world. The relatively small jewish community is tightly knit and sets higher intellectual goals for their kids. The intellectual property this generates is shared by all. >Common pools are notoriously destructive and wasteful of property. You are saying people can't pass property to other people. That's silly.>
