Maybe, but I doubt it. The US doesn't have the will to crush the insurrection with whatever means possible. I don't know that our totalitarian government would be so reasonable. If it were still trying to maintain good will, then force wouldn't be needed. You're talking about something like a "militia" scenario, meaning the nuts in Idaho or wherever. Somehow I don't think the founders would want to support them.

But all this is speculation. Even if it's not entirely impractical, it's pretty close to entirely impractical.
