I really like the pythons. "So, are deaths caused by bombs and gunfire less worthy of our pity than deaths caused by a giant wave?" I think the answer is "yes"- because a lot of our citizens can tell themselves, regarding the Iraqi dead, that "they deserved it".

What's amazing to me is the Saudi's had a fundraiser for families of homicide bombers last year and raised 150 million, yet only pledged 15 million to tsunami victims.
