Unfortunate thing is that these scammy diploma mills are hurting legit private education. I've started getting involved in the college process and trying to get information on one of the schools owned by EDMC. They seem to be doing great, kids get great jobs, but many of the parents mistakenly think that any private college is just out there for money and I heard a couple of jokes about the colleges that advertise on match box covers or on the internet.

They should severely punish any of these outfits that do the stuff about which you post, e.g., diplomas for sale.

I think the best approach is not going after the schools, but the "students", as you do often by exposing anyone that has a diploma mill degree. If possible, get a hold of "graduate" lists. Only when people start getting fired from their jobs for lying about their education will they stop patronizing the mills.
