My GPA is 3.8 out of a possible 4.0. To call me ignorant is, to put it mildly, off the mark.

Ok, you're banned from 23 threads on SI, so what is the problem? You're smarter than everyone else?

I was banned from the GW Bush thread for speaking the truth. IMO being banned is an honor!

The controversial film proves to be the public’s favorite.

Michael Moore’s film, “Fahrenheit 9/11” struck gold on Sunday night at the People’s Choice Awards when it was honored as Favorite Movie. The film proved that controversy loves company when Mel Gibson’s equally contentious film, “The Passion of the Christ” took home the award for Favorite Movie Drama.

“This country is still all of ours, not right, or left or Democrat or Republican,” said Moore as he accepted the award, which he also dedicated to the troops fighting overseas.

"To me, really, this is the ultimate goal, because one doesn't make work for the elite,” said Gibson to reporters backstage. “To me, the people have spoken.”

Another film winner of the evening was “Shrek 2”, garnering five awards, which included Favorite Animated Movie, Favorite Animated Movie Star and Favorite Villain Movie Star. Johnny Depp took home an award for Favorite Male Movie Star and Brad Pitt shined as Favorite Leading Man. Renée Zellwegger and Angelina Jolie were also dubbed as favorites as well as Will Smith, Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler.

On the music side of the show, U2 won favorite group while Alicia Keys and Usher took home statuettes for Favorite Female Singer and Favorite Male Singer.

On the small screen, reality shows continue to gain a huge fan base as “American Idol” and “Newlyweds” received the people’s acceptance.
