it's a good time to keep an eye on the general.. stockcharts.com[w,a]daclyiay[pc40!c200!f][vc60][iut!La12,26,9!Ll14]&pref=G stock has a major yawn factor after failing to print a higher high back in may. there were a couple big volume days while i was away... but no price reaction. i call that distribution. where's the incentive to buy this thing? they hold 370 billion dollars of debt.. roughly 15% more than they held last year at this time.. Message 20255974 definitely not a recipe for bullish enthusiasm .. eventually the consolidation will come to an end .. daily ADX is rising just barely off a reading of 10. also has recent negative macd crossover -idea- sell to open - GE Sep05 calls w/ 37.5 strike - bidding .60 buy to open - GE Sep05 puts w/ 35 strike - asking .50 the more conservative approach here would be to wait for a red daily volume stick that exceeds 20million shares
