We should be especially mindful of that we have an underfunded Social Security System (SSS), a type of Ponzi scheme, in which the early retirees get money, while those 50 years later don't. I've already planned my retirement WITHOUT it because I don't think there will be enough working people with high wages in the U.S. to fund my retirement.

Normally, most people would be against the failure of the SSS since the vast majority will be using it to retire. The government is SAYING that SSS is OK, but the trust fund is actually funded by FUTURE American jobs (notes of federal debt arising from Iraq, of course, being used as the "marker"). SO, if I'm buying a cheap shirt from China and that is going to help collapse the American labor market (thereby, the SSS), the only people with that information are doing analysis of the public sector. Since those in power politically and economically today will be retired in the future (on a separate system, mind you) , they aren't motivated to rock the boat now (so, bring 'em on, those Chinese shirts). There is a direct analog between this and the historic mining of lead and other metals in Colorado and elsewhere.
