Here's my view. Fans will be fans but football players (athletes) are professionals. I'm not sure how to draw the line perfectly in this case but I know over the top when I see it. What he did was over the top and the problem is where does it stop? In a few years does a new guy come on the scene and feel the need to surpass TO and thus pull out his ebony timber when he scores? It's a tough call but the NFL has to draw a line or we'll have an event like we had in Detroit at the Pistons, Pacer game. The NFL has done so well staying above that garbage that I hate to see a few bad apples/events come to pass and have it hurt the reputation of NFL football.
