I do not agree with those who say we need more troops in Iraq and never have. If we are to prevail, I do believe we need more troops fighting the war on terror, and I think that need is going to continue to increase, but we need to deploy them in other locations. I have also said we are going to need the draft. GWB promised not to draft. That promise will die with any significant attack against the US, or with the next president, or with any significant reduction in recruiting, whichever occurs first.
