Neal that is incorrect,

In fact the only reason I returned to Apple a few years ago was first seeing the Ipod and being a big believer in the Mp3 concept. Of course no one could predict the level of the Ipod success including Apple. I knew it was a great design. I have stated this fact numerous times over the years. I also stated many times I felt a "flash drive" was a far superior concept for a portable player. Sadly Apple did a subpar job in their design and it will not even be considered a player if you took off the Apple name. Many Flash players already on the market are far superior in design to Apple flash player. It does have a good "name" value, but that can only go so far when you produce an inferior product.

I have been trading Apple actively for years:

Until the Ipod was released I never felt they had a product that would interest the masses.

The computer line has never got me excited with such a tiny part of the computer market.

Apple fumbled the ball with this flash player. But they can still sell a lot of them because they are cheap and users don't know any better.
