Let me see if I can explain this clearly enough for you ...

What is disingenuous is your suggestion that the premium you pay to buy a wholly different sort of product with different features than the "cheap outfit made in China" represents any kind of selfless act intended to "provide a living wage" or that, even if emulated by other consumers, could actually make a difference to the average American worker. Buying something you believe to be of higher quality, so that it lasts longer, and buying fewer of them over time is no nod to economic justice - it is simple consumer preference or just a budgeting decision.

BTW, also disingenuous is your implication that imported goods are inherently inferior to domestically produced ones. That is plainly an invalid generalization.
