Well I think CNBCs ratings fell when they had to present constant bad news. Its a catch-22 really, with these markets if they want to assist people in making money- its a short perspective they need to have. But that turns off a lot of folks... I know I don't want to listen to bad news all the time.

A few years ago I saw the president of NBC on an interview show. He said cnbc was doing a great job, the market was bad but give it a year or so, and their numbers would be back. In other words even the president of NBC was expecting a resumption to a good market. Jokes on him.
