I probably don't mean that- and I certainly didn't see the link posted elsewhere. If you think pointing out bad behavior is equivalent to starting it, and engaging in it, then bad behavior can never be pointed out.

While bad behavior is subjective, it's pretty clear that taking someone's opinion, and mocking it elsewhere, is substantively different from talking about the behavior of mocking, and questioning whether that behavior adds anything to SI. I don't see how mocking someone's opinions really adds much to the community of SI. No doubt you solidify the little group with whom you engage, but you also make yourselves that much more repellent to people who do not agree with you. Which is fine, if that's what you want.
