I don't remember mocking Jewel for that. Can you show me the post? I think it's a bit silly to mock people for sloppy writing since one inevitably gets in a hurry and does it oneself. It's small minded. Of course it's absolutely possible I got annoyed and was small minded, as it is obviously possible for you to do that.

Perhaps you did not understand me- I said millions losing their jobs (the millions of manufacturing jobs gone) and no equivalent jobs to replace them- meaning the "service" jobs available to folks who once worked union jobs in manufacturing do not have the benefits or compensation which enables people to be viably middle class:

"Fifty years ago, a third of U.S. employees worked in factories, making everything from clothing to lipstick to cars. Today, a little more than one-tenth of the nation's 131 million workers are employed by manufacturing firms. Four-fifths are in services."

Sounds like millions of jobs to me.
