Bookkeeping sounds like a good idea--snacking
seems to be the main way to blow the budget.
I'm only a week in, and serving size does not
seem to be too tricky. Eating slowly and savoring
the smaller portions is obviously essential.
I've never tried to lose so much weight before,
a few pounds to get into old ski pants, but
this is a bit of an undertaking.

Drinking a glass of water when you feel a
snack attack is advice I've already got that
seems to be a good trick. I'm glad I've never
smoked--if it is twice as hard to quit smoking
as it is to undereat, that would not be doable
for me.
