Indeed or, we could make it so people in other countries can't have farms or farm jobs ... seems like the logic

Did you think someone was proposing that?

But it might be wise to examine what happens to former employees of farms when they make a transition to other lines of work. One might want to determine what kinds of jobs they are taking, and whether those jobs are better, or worse, or somewhat equivalent. Whole books have been written about migrations of labor- do you think it is silly for people to write those books? It's fun to throw a word like Luddite around- and to refer to smashing farm equipment, but it doesn't help this discussion.

Sadly, although you obviously know something about what you are talking about, you think you know SO much more than anyone else, and your posts are so obnoxious, that it's impossible to get much benefit from your posts. And the sad thing is, you probably could be fascinating- and you probably could bring out some economic issues that we've missed- but alas, it is not to be. I regret that it is not to be.
