I probably ought to stay out of this, Gloop, (this used to be such a quiet little thread- -except for beating the piss out of liberals) BUT- -
You know those big jocks in HS on the football team who lorded it over we nerds? Know where the majority of them are now? They're my garbage men. They can lift big cans, but they can't added 2 + 2.
Know where the nerds are? Living in the suburbs and tony towns as doctors, lawyers, engineers, managers, ....
Paying those brutes minimum wage.
What percentage of those BIG BRUTES do you think made it to the BIG LEAGUES to play for the NFL, NBAA, ....? How's that compare to how the nerds did?
We didn't get to be King of the Planet by beating everything up using unaided strength. We got here using that 3 pounds of jello between our ears.
You think Canadians are cowards? Ever hear of the Dieppe Raid? World War II. The Canadians got selected for it by the Brits. I've often thought the Brits did it because they were too chicken to do it themselves. In spite of idiotic losses, the Canadians d*** near carried it off.
Then in WW1, there was Vimy Ridge. I don't think the Canadians have a thing to apologize for there. The Germans sure didn't enjoy it.
Oh, about that 3 pounds....
